Dodik at an academy in Banja Luka: Republika Srpska is trapped in BiH

(Patria) - An academy is being held tonight in Banja Luka on the occasion of Sretenje - Serbian Statehood Day. Among others, the presidents of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and of RS, Milorad Dodik, are attending.

- President Vučić, welcome to the state of the Serbian people - Republika Srpska. Thank you for having the vision to organize the "all-Serbian assembly" and for every Serbian holiday to be a holiday for every Serb, wherever they may be.

They banned us from celebrating Sretenje for a long time. I am glad you are here, to see how many people support you, that you have developed Serbia so much. You have made Serbia strong, and that is important, because we feel good and safe here. Thank you for not giving up even when you were pressured, - Dodik said in his address.

He also told Vučić to strengthen Serbia and not to let anything stop him.

- We are following what is happening in Serbia now. I know how much the tragedy affected you as a person, and I know how sad and broken you were. I look forward to being together in Sremska Mitrovica, we have never identified ourselves as Bosnian Serbs here, we are Serbs - said Dodik.

He also stated that RS is working not to disgrace Serbia.

- That is why we never allow anyone to tell us that we are not Serbs, and we certainly do not give up what is written in the Sretenje Constitution, and that is freedom. It means that Serbs stood before the strongest powers of that time and never retreated.

Republika Srpska is stable and secure today, there are different views in RS on how to move forward. RS is caught and trapped in BiH, but RS must lead its own liberation process against BiH, because we will not end up well in it.

Today we are more united than ever. We love Serbia. I don't love Bosnia and Herzegovina, what can I do, it is what it is, but I don't hate it to harm anyone, never.

The Bosniak people are good people, but they are led by ideologies that are approaching political Islam, and I am against that. We have no problem with Dayton BiH - Dodik added.
