Dačić's condition serious, but stable

(Patria) - The health condition of the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić is still serious, but there is reason for optimism, the medical team of the Clinical Center of Serbia (KCS) announced.

"Based on the latest analyses and parameters that have been monitored, we can say that today, more than in previous days, we have reason for optimism, although the patient's condition is still serious. We are continuing with intensive treatment measures," the KCS doctors announced.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić was admitted to the Clinical Center of Serbia on Wednesday due to health problems.

He was hospitalized at the Clinic for Pulmonology, and upon admission, he was intubated and placed on a respirator. Dačić suffers from bilateral pneumonia.
