Dačić in serious condition, placed on mechanical ventilation

(Patria) - Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dačić is hospitalized at the Clinical Center of Serbia due to bilateral pneumonia, and doctors assess his health condition as serious, but more stable compared to the previous night.

Dačić remains under constant medical supervision and all necessary therapeutic measures are being applied.

„The patient is currently in a more stable general condition, but it is still a serious clinical picture that requires intensive monitoring and treatment“, states Dr. Spasoje Popević, noting that it is still too early for final prognoses.

The public will be informed in a timely manner about the further course of treatment and recovery of Minister Dačić.

Ivica Dačić, Serbian Minister of Internal Affairs, has been hospitalized due to bilateral pneumonia, and the doctor in charge of his treatment - Deputy Director for Pulmonology Spasoje Popević said it is too early to predict anything.

"He is still in serious health condition. The fight continues, he is on mechanical ventilation and at this moment we have managed to stabilize his condition. It is too early to predict anything. At this moment the situation is more stable than it was during yesterday's address. I appeal to all media to have understanding for the minister's family and all his friends. It is up to us to do our job", said Dr. Popević, as reported by Telegraf.
