Dačić on the gathering in Novi Sad: All criminal offenses were recorded and perpetrators will be held accountable

(Patria) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dačić stated that at the gathering in Novi Sad, which was not reported as required by law, there was a drastic disturbance of public order and peace, attacks and destruction of property, endangerment of property, and attacks on the police.

Dačić emphasized that, above all, the gathering led to damage to Serbia's reputation, related to the state flag.

"Police officers showed restraint and reacted only when necessary to repel an attack," stated Minister Dačić, as announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"All perpetrators of violence and offenders of criminal offenses and misdemeanors will be apprehended, and criminal and misdemeanor charges will be filed against them. All offenses were recorded, and the perpetrators will be held accountable," stated Minister Dačić.
