Montenegro: Soldier died in overturned tanker in Kuči

(Patria) - A member of the Army of Montenegro (41) died when a military water tanker overturned in the Kuči region. Another soldier was seriously injured, "Vijesti" has confirmed from several unofficial sources.

The injured soldier was transported to the Clinical Center of Montenegro, and this information was confirmed by the Ministry of Defence.

- One member of the Army of Montenegro died, and another sustained serious bodily injuries during engagement in firefighting in the Kuči region - the Ministry of Defence announced.

The accident occurred when the water tanker they were operating overturned.

- The Army of Montenegro, in cooperation with the competent authorities, is conducting an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the accident - the Ministry of Defence announced.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović, arrived at the scene upon learning of the accident.
