Budget of BiH Institutions for 2025 Still Not Processed or Delivered to Deputies

(Patria) - The Proposal for the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations for 2025, adopted by the BiH Presidency at its session on August 19, has still not been processed in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH nor delivered to the deputies of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA.

We recall that Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić voted in favor of the proposal, while Željka Cvijanović was against it. This proposal includes allocated funds for BHRT (20 million KM) and for seven cultural institutions of national importance, which the RS side refuses to accept.

Since January of this year, BiH institutions have been under interim financing, and it is certain that this situation will continue for some time, as the adoption of the budget remains uncertain.

Even if the Budget were to be adopted in the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, the question remains how the situation will unfold in the House of Peoples of the BiH PA. Just this year, several sessions have been interrupted due to a lack of quorum, with SNSD and HDZ holding the quorum in the Serb and Croat caucuses.
