Naša stranka's Fight Against a Civic State: From Relativizing the Joint Criminal Enterprise to Sabotaging Slaven Kovačević's Appeal!

(Patria) - "Grave acts of treason by Naša stranka and their cadres. Against their own country, against BiH citizens, against democracy".

This is how DF MP in the State Parliament Zlatan Begić commented on social media regarding the information made public by Slaven Kovačević, advisor to the BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić, concerning the activities undertaken by Naša stranka in sabotaging Kovačević's appeal before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

We remind you that Kovačević, as a guest on Hayat television, stated that Croatia is interfering significantly and that he knows the names of people from the OHR who are on the phone line with Strasbourg regarding the verdict, thereby protecting "their project" in BiH, and also explained the negative role of Naša stranka in the entire process.

"I received information that self-proclaimed agents had a conversation with the Deputy Minister for Human Rights and that she gave them full support. That is Duška Jurišić. I did not hear or see this.

If this is true, then I must ask Naša stranka if it is your position that your Deputy Minister is working to undermine Kovačević's verdict? If so, say it honestly. This is an effort to speed up the process of entering modern democratic states", emphasized Kovačević.

Naša stranka has not yet denied this information. However, the fact that the saying - where there's smoke, there's fire - holds true in this case is also indicated by the fact that immediately after the verdict on Slaven Kovačević's appeal (August 2023), the party's MP Sabina Ćudić misled the public by claiming she lobbied for it, even though there was no technical possibility for her to be aware of its submission, as Kovačević himself stated.

Considering the earlier attempt to mislead the public, i.e., the attempt to take credit for it, and considering the latest information presented by Kovačević, the question arises whether the mask of a false civic party has finally fallen from Naša stranka.

If previously, based on certain moves by their officials, i.e., based on statements that even went as far as relativizing the joint criminal enterprise (let's recall Irma Baralija's statement about how we destroyed and burned each other's houses in Mostar), it could be argued that Naša stranka leans towards the Croatian national position, then after joint action with Zagreb, and against the verdict of the European Court of Human Rights which effectively suggests the establishment of a civic order in Bosnia and Herzegovina – then there is hardly any room for doubt left.

The closeness of Naša stranka to Zagreb's political positions cannot be explained solely by their customary aversion to Komšić. It is a strategic commitment.
