(Patria) - Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović stated that the Vice-President of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Ivan Vuković is free and is on his way to Montenegro after his arrest in Belgrade.
He said that he was informed about this by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Marko Đurić.
Vuković was detained today in Belgrade by the Security Information Agency (BIA) of Serbia, and the DPS also commented on the matter.
"His arrest was announced this morning by the ideologue of the current Serbian authorities - Vojislav Šešelj. Apparently, fear makes for big eyes - so big that they fear a university professor and a member of the Parliament of Montenegro and see him as a threat to the constitutional order. After all, when you are arrested on Šešelj's orders, you know you are on the right side of the political struggle," the DPS stated in a press release.
