SARAJEVO, (Patria) - It is estimated that 1,000 people left Una-Sana Canton in January alone this year.
The trend of residents leaving BiH unfortunately continues. In the past year and this year, more than 11,400 people have left USC.
This is confirmed by concrete and official figures from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of USC regarding the number of applications submitted for the issuance of a certificate of good conduct for the purpose of employment abroad.
Unemployment has largely contributed to this, especially the coronavirus pandemic, which led to the closure of thousands of jobs.
The fact that highly educated personnel are also leaving en masse is particularly worrying.
