The Plum Fair in Gradačac is an event that was launched back in 1969 and is the oldest specialized fair event in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year's Plum Fair is an opportunity for agricultural producers and food and beverage processors to present the advantages and achievements in this economic sector.
On this occasion, the organizers announce a richer and more content-filled program for this economic and tourist event.
The Plum Fair will offer numerous sub-fair contents such as the 8th International Beekeeping Fair with international participation, the First Competitive Exhibition of Dairy Breeds, as well as a series of professional and scientific meetings.
- Since the founding of this economic and tourist event, the word of experts and science has been extremely important for the development of the Fair, for which we are especially grateful to the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences of the University of Sarajevo.
This year too, a series of panels and expert lectures from the field of agricultural and food industry development will be held.
Exhibitors who form the backbone of the agricultural and food sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be presented at the Fair, especially in the areas of dairy, milling, and fruit and vegetable processing.
Three of the most significant milk processors in the Federation of BiH and in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be presented to visitors - dairies MI 99 Gradačac, Lactalis BH, and Meggle.
We are pleased that companies from the AS Jelah group will also have their stands, and visitors will be able to have coffee from Vispak's džezva at the entrance to the fairgrounds, which is the largest in the world and entered in the Guinness Book of Records.
It should also be noted the awarding of fair medals for the quality of exhibited products - said Sakib Imširović, acting head of the Tourist Office of the Tourist Association of the City of Gradačac.
