Association 'Women – War Victims' submitted an inquiry to the Court and Prosecutor's office BiH (Department for War Crimes) seeking the know how come that Oliver Krsmanovic is not detained by the Court until he is supposed to start to serve his prison sentence.
The court practice so far has seen escape of several convicted war criminals sentenced to 15 and more years, thus giving an excuse to other criminals to look for shelter in one of the neighboring countries to avoid the prison.
Some of those who escaped from serving the sentence due to the negligence of the BH Court (court councils) are Novak Djukic in Tuzla sentenced to 20 years and Momir Savic from Visegrad, 17 years.
The BH Court confirmed a non-appealable verdict of 18 years prison sentence for Oliver Krsmanovic from Visegrad, yet it did not send him to serve but freed him up.
Since 10 June, survived victims, witnesses, family members of the victims, get to see Oliver Krsmanovic every day as a free citizen, strolling around the streets of Visegrad, and posting messages on Facebook, states press release of the Association signed by its President Bakira Hasecic.
