Is there a screenplay for the internal conflict in the 'Bosniak Unity'?

Bakir Izetbegovic's statement about writing of Dnevni Avaz and its bad influence on SDA and SBB has shocked many. An ordinary man could wonder what kind of public opinion the politics of the ruling Bosniak coalition is creating? If the force is in the unity (as SDA motto says), should not there be media unity? What can regulate politics in the power if not media? Until yesterday, Izetbegovic had a parallel media force in form of one newspaper and one weekly magazine. On the eve of sudden coalition of SDA and SBB, there were obvious conflicts in the media field.

Pre-election campaigns of all parties were, by and large, based on conflicts, threatening messages, traditional discrediting of the opponents. Who could remember now the things that the actual partners had said about each other i.e. the extent to which media brutalities were exchanged? That still confuses even the best interpreters of the Bosniak unity.

Then came peaceful times in which the coalition’s wheels were generously greased by media, while the entire project of the Bosniak unity was being push-started. It is curious that, on the eve of those fierce pre-election criticisms, Izetbegovic kept silent. How come he remained so cool when today he fiercely and ultimately reacts to the most common criticisms of Avaz? It would be hard to understand that without free constructions and cognitive acrobatics.

Avaz’s response made yesterday's cover page. The best sold BH daily paper announced: 'Avaz rejects Bakir's pressure'. Izetbegovic got treated with a personal tone, as 'Bakir'. One could conclude: The conflict has neither depth nor essence. Why is it needed then? One could say that Bosniak politics has come to a deadlock.

Milorad Dodik has been denied a US visa, regardless of his diplomatic passport. Dragan Covic has lost the key interlocutor for his acrobatic politics. What kind of force of the state we are and what kind of power our political leaders possess, when all our political relations firmly built for decades have collapsed because of one visa denial. One could wonder: Are these conflicts inside of the Bosniak unity actually playacted? Or is it sticking one's head in the Bosniak national sand? If that a variation of Bosniak political response, then we might as well expect Covic in a new role of a federal pacemaker between SDA and SBB. That said, the engineer has suddenly lost Dodik, and spiritual authorities of the Catholic Church have distanced themselves from him. In case of any film directing, this would be dramatic plot. After all, we are the nation with the biggest number of awards per capita.
