Is there any relation between 'Markota case' and family ties of Dragan Covic?

The advisor of the member of Presidency BiH, Dragan Covic, kidnapped and beaten up Mario Markota in order to scare him off and force him to keep silent about giving bribery for employment in one of the law enforcement agencies.

Federal TV reported on 26 May 2016 that, Covic's advisor Dario Krezic had kidnapped and beaten up Mario Markota, after which he proceeded to work at the Presidency BiH. He used the official vehicle of the presidency.

Several days ago, local media re-opened the case. Again, no reaction whatsoever, as was the case in 2016. State institutions including the judicial institutions, as well as hundreds of non-governmental organizations are keeping silent about this scandal. No word from Covic. The citizens are also silent.

What is the background of this case? How come Covic did not react to the affair involving one of the presidency cars?

There are certain family ties which keep the state institutions from starting an investigation and punishing the offender.

Covic's advisor Dario Krezic is brother of Mario Krezic, Covic's son-in-law, who married his younger daughter Sanja.

Mario works for Elektroprivreda HZHB. His wife Sanja Covic-Krezic is a high-ranking employee of the cantonal Employment Institute in Mostar. She is perceived as extremely powerful and sarcastically referred to as - 'baroness'.

Covic – the most prominent advocate of Croat national interest – has another daughter, Danijela Primorac, who works for the Central Bank BiH. Covic's son-in-law, Davorin Primorac is the director of BHANSA, the Agency for air traffic services. Davorin's brother, Ivica Primorac also works for BHANSA as chief of finance. Consequently, his superior is his own brother.

A few more thoughts on the Dario Krezic case. He is security advisor of the Croat member of BiH Presidency, Dragan Covic. That is a very important function. More precisely, Dario Krezic had to be aware that he was on the verge of breaking the law. He was obliged to report the case of maltreating Mario Markota. Failure to report a criminal act is a criminal act per se. The family ties are most probably the reason for the silence at the state level. After all, that explains the involvement of the official vehicle of the Croat presidency member in the 'mission'. The car also seems to be inseparable part of the family ties.
