Academic Mahmutcehajic: Izetbegovic wants to make Bosniaks his tribe

Asked who leads us, Mahmutcehajic said 'people who don't understand us'. Explaining Bosnian politics so far, he described our society as 'unjust, one of inequality, without solidarity, in which the most endangered parts being the elderly, children, the poor are nobody's care, while the purpose of the politics is to care for them'.

- BiH is one of the most beautiful countries, and 30% of its population is hungry. The existing Bosnian politics is defalcation of political ideals and tasks. You see a neglected society, cheated, scared... it has to be given back to the people it exists for, academic Mahmutcehajic said.

- This is the worst form of dehumanization of the people, humiliation, and once accepted, it become a failure of a political ideal. Bosnian ideal is the greatest value of all.

He reiterated his thesis that Bosniaks are a vanishing nation.

- Enough with the existing political situation. In the last 200 years, there has never been more of Bosnia, Mahmutcehajic said, adding that we live in an endangered society, filled with ignorance.

He gave a rather colorful account of the present Bosnian politics.

- The present Bosnian politics is like children left in a closed dark room, so they start to fight, steal toys from each other, hit one another because they do not have sense of orientation, they can't work out where the windows and doors are. Bosnian politics is confusion and fun, fulfilling egoistic wishes of some, privileges of those with power. The country where those with power do not face repercussions for their deeds.

He added that, there is no true democratic party in BiH, because what is democracy without a constant inner fight for different ideas, opinions, fight for equality, justice, solidarity, for those underprivileged.

- There aren't any democratic parties which are based on dynasties, as is case in North Korea and BiH. Three-member Presidency BiH, well it is not a consociation triad, and then there is Bakir Izetbegovic who wants to make his own tribe out of Bosniaks, which is the road to hell for this country.

He said that he had spoken with Bakir Izetbegovic and warned him to get rid of the concept in which BiH leans on Muslim countries. The future of Bosnia will be determined by friendly relations, constantly offered and proven, with Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, Russia...

Mahmutcehajic also said that his candidacy for the Presidency BiH is an 'open option'.
