The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is silent, and it seems deaf too, because since Friday, when the conclusions were adopted in the National Assembly of the RS on
taking over the competencies of BiH at the level of Republika Srpska, which was characterized as destroying the constitutional order – it has not responded!
Prosecutors headed by Acting Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić had a peaceful and good weekend!
Media inquiries were ignored, and no one answered the calls!? But what could we expect from the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which previously formed a case related to the decision of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NARS) on the establishment of the entity agency for medicines and medical devices, and to this day we do not have any prosecutorial decisions!?
They confirmed that they had asked the NARS to provide, as they stated, certain information in the case in which they were acting. And then they hid, as is usually the case, and due to the fact that the investigation is ongoing - 'they can't reveal more details'. As the public was deprived of more information on the 'icon' case, we are not surprised this time either, but we are certainly disappointed by the fact that the BiH institution such as the BiH Prosecutor's Office is asleep while the BiH Constitution is being openly violated.
BiH Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić also called on the BiH Prosecutor's Office to prosecute Milorad Dodik, whom he called instigator and leader of a group 'united in overthrowing BiH' constitutional order and undermining state institutions', after the Republika Srpska parliament adopted conclusions on Friday night by which it orders the government to draft a law to get the entity out of Bosnia and Herzegovina's constitutional order.
'The NARS has left the Dayton Accords', Komšić said, according to his cabinet. And, maybe Kajganić et al will start working on the first working day of the week, proving that they are promoters of the rule of law, and not a group of political servants appointed to high positions!
