Those who escaped death are tormented in the courts

Is it their fault that they survived!?

Amina Čorbo – Zećo

Yesterday in the Potočari Memorial Center, 50 victims of genocide found their peace. Thousands of white tombstones bear witness to the monstrous crimes of those who had one goal - to kill
every non-Serb! July 11 passed. A new day has come. Monsters who slaughtered, killed, raped… are still free. Milomir Savčić, accused of genocide, walks freely in Serbia. Thanks to the combined forces of people from the judiciary and the Republika Srpska authorities, he escaped justice. But not the conscience, I hope.

Acting chief prosecutor Milanko Kajganić was not yesterday in Potočari. While his colleague Dijana Kajmaković, overcome with pain, spoke with tears at the graveyard, her boss Kajganić is
helping out with the last stage of the genocide! If Kajganić was professional and moral, he would have been yesterday in Potočari.

Preoccupied with doctoring indictments against members of the RBiH Army and the police, Kajganić has never stated precisely whether he recognizes the genocide in Srebrenica!? Denying
genocide is a criminal offense. Kajganić's Prosecutor's Office did not file a single indictment for denying the genocide, the reports are sitting in the drawers!?

But that's why today, July 12, just one day after the Srebrenica genocide Memorial Day, the 10 accused in the ‘Dobrovoljačka’ case, will appear before the court.

Is it their fault that they survived!?

The US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Michael Murphy spoke the greatest truth when he said that the judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina has ‘hit rock bottom’. Unfortunately, the
situation is getting worse. Those who defended the country now have to prove their innocence at the Court, while the executioners walk freely.

It is in this context that one should observe the fact that certain forces use every means to change the character of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Under political pressure coming from the
Serb side, the BiH Prosecutor's Office continues to produce doctored indictments. There are countless examples of this. The latest one is the case against Dragan Vikić and Jusuf
Pušina, who were acquitted of the alleged crime in the Great Park. Chetnik politics is deeply rooted in the judicial system of Bosnia and Herzegovina!

‘Shame on us’, as Enver Išerić recently exclaimed, referring to the fact that the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against ten people on suspicion of having
committed war crimes against members of the former Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) in Dobrovoljačka Street in Sarajevo at the beginning of May of 1992.

A case of special public and state interest, because the event represented a turning point for the defence and survival of our state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been conducted - by order of
Serbia and the RS – by Kajganić himself! He is one of the signatories of the indictment in Ekavian (Serbian dialect)! The HJPC had no objections!

Although requested by the public, new evidence has not been presented. Nor anyone considered resigning. The judge for the preliminary hearing, Braco Stupar, confirmed the indictment against
Ejup Ganić, Zaim Backović, Hamid Bakhta, Hasan Efendić, Fikret Muslimović, Jusuf Pušina, Bakir Alispahić, Enes Bezdrob, Ismet Dahić and Mahir Žiška. All those listed were not even on the C list of the Hague Court. Most of them were not even suspected of war crimes in previous years. At the same time, the fact that the decision was made to suspend investigations for more than 250 cases marked by The Hague as ‘A’, shows that the prosecutor's offices are filled with malicious folks. The International Criminal Court designated A cases as those with sufficient evidence for a well-founded suspicion that a person had committed serious violations of international humanitarian law! But obviously, from well-founded suspicion to complete freedom takes little, just as little as it takes to allegedly find new evidence for a case that was concluded in The Hague!?

But the Prosecutor's Office does not listen to The Hague, the place where the best world judiciary experts are gathered! Kajganić and the team still think they know better!
That's why we should be ashamed, that's why we hit rock bottom, that's why we'll soon have to keep quiet about the Chetnik-Ustasha crimes, because for years they have been taking away the
heroes of the defense, and we didn't care, now that they're coming for all of us and the truth, and there will be no one to stand up.

Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, as Martin Luther King put it a long time ago. Members of the international community in BiH are certainly aware of this, and they talk
more harshly about the state of the judiciary every day. It’s out in the open now, the enemies of Bosnia and Herzegovina are publicly murdering the state, the truth, and no one is even trying to stop them!
