Lagumdzija not gone yet: Elektroprivreda signs another big contract with a foreign company

An IT company from Zagreb 'b4b' will get to sign a new contract with Elektroprivreda BiH worth 232,000 KM for maintenance of IT system called SAP.

An IT company from Zagreb 'b4b' will get to sign another contract with Elektroprivreda BiH worth 232,000 KM for maintenance of IT system called SAP.

News agency Patria is in possession of a news release issued by Elektroprivreda BiH end of April saying that this year's job of SAP maintenance is given to 'b4b' from Zagreb.

So far this Croatian company has made more than 11 million KM on the account of Elektroprivreda contracts, specifically for the implementation of IT system SAP. They have also billed Elektroprivreda for the maintenance of the system.

It was Zlatko Lagumdzija who brought this Croatian company to the IT market in BiH. He did that with the help from his friend Elvedin Grabovica, then director of this public company. Although both of them now seem far away from the most profitable BH company (they lecture at Sarajevo University and own their private businesses), the company from Zagreb still holds monopoly over Elektroprivreda BiH.

The latest job for 'b4b Zagreb' has been approved by Dzemo Borovina, Executive Director for Supplies and Trade in Elektroprivreda. Although appointed to the position on the account of being an SBB member, Borovina has been the closest associate of Elvedin Grabovica and Zlatko Lagumdzija for years.

Representatives of Elektroprivreda confirmed to Patria that the company has implemented 4 SAP projects so far and that all of them were done by 'b4b Zagreb'.Yet they did not wish to say anything else.

- Total value of these 4 projects was about 11 million KM, they confirmed.

They refused to give any additional comments about the matter, such as information about other BH companies that participated in tenders for IT jobs and Elektroprivreda money that ended up in Croatia.

Representatives of Elektroprivreda also refused to speak about contracts they have with private company ALEM Sistem Sarajevo owned by the professor Fahrudin Orucevic, also a close associate of Zlatko Lagumdzija.
