(Patria) - The USA Stars team is the winner of this year's NBA All-Star tournament after convincingly defeating the USA Stripes team with a score of 47:21 in Sunday's final match.
This year's All-Star brought a modified competition format. Three teams participated in the tournament, playing shortened 12-minute games. In addition to the USA Stars and USA Stripes teams, Team World, composed of international NBA stars, also competed. Last year, the All-Star was organized in a four-team format.
In the final match, the most effective player was Tyrese Maxey with nine points, while Anthony Edwards added eight for the winning team. Edwards finished the tournament with a total of 32 points, averaging 10.6 points, three rebounds, and one assist per game, earning him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
On the other side, in the USA Stripes team, Donovan Mitchell stood out with six points, while LeBron James scored five baskets.
