
(Patria) - Two para-swimmers Ismail Zulfić and Ismail Barlov finished in eighth place after today's performances at the World Championships in Singapore.
Ismail Zulfić competed in the 50 m backstroke event and finished 8th.
He secured the final with a time of 38:13, which is also a new national record. For a 14-year-old, this is a huge success.
Ismail Barlov competed in the 150 m individual medley with a time of 3:22:36 and finished 8th.
Barlov had a better time in the final, which is his personal best and a new national record.
Ismail Barlov won a silver medal in the 50 m breaststroke event at the World Championships in Singapore.
Both Zulfić and Barlov have been trained for years by Amel Kapo, founder of the SPID Swimming Club, the first to start working with children with disabilities.
