(Patria) - After 19 years and the legendary Janica Kostelić, Croatia has its best female skier in the world. 20-year-old Zrinka Ljutić from Zagreb today took first place among the world's best female skiers.
Ljutić triumphed in her second consecutive slalom race, reaching the top of the World Cup slalom standings, as well as the overall standings.
After Austria's Semmering last week, she celebrated today in Slovenia's Kranjska Gora. Considering the results of the two leading competitors before today's race, Sara Hector and Camille Rast, she has taken the number one spot in the race for the Big Crystal Globe.
