(Patria) - Zrinjski today in Mostar in a postponed match of the 2nd round of the Premier League of BiH defeated Sloga from Doboj without major problems with a score of 3:0.
The home team's job was significantly eased in the 12th minute when Mekić received a red card.
The home side started the match better. The game was mostly played in front of Sloga's goal, and such play paid off for the Plemići in the 7th minute.
After a longer build-up, Mamić "fired" from almost 25 meters and beat Dobojlija's goalkeeper Filip Erić.
Five minutes later, the visitors were reduced to ten men. After a VAR intervention, Sabrija Topalović showed the red card to Nedim Mekić.
Even then it was clear that Zrinjski would get new points. Chances and half-chances piled up in front of Sloga's goal, with Bilbija missing the best one.
It was the 31st minute when the experienced Zrinjski striker failed to capitalize on a gift from Erić, who made a rookie mistake. Bilbija shot from about 10 meters, but Erić redeemed himself with a great save.
Three minutes before halftime, 2:0 for Zrinjski. Ivančić crossed and Bilbija doubled the home team's lead.
Until the end of the first half, the visitors had a chance through former Zrinjski player Kunić, who reacted very poorly in front of the home team's goal.
At the start of the second half, again after a VAR intervention, a penalty for Zrinjski. Bilbija was confident. Until the end of the match, the score did not change and it remained 3:0.
It was Zrinjski's fourth consecutive league win without conceding a goal.
