Zrinjski defeated Borac in Zenica and won the BiH Super Cup

(Patria) - The winner of the Super Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the team of Zrinjski from Mostar.

Tonight, Borac and Zrinjski clashed in Zenica in front of an almost empty stadium. It was a match to forget with one goal, scored in the net of the Banja Luka team.



In the first half, there were no chances until the 33rd minute when Mamić crossed in front of Borac's goal, and Malekinušić shot from a few meters over the goal.

Two minutes later, Mulahusejnović had a chance, but was not accurate.

Borac showed almost nothing in the first half, and Zrinjski's goalkeeper Karačić had no work to do.



The second half started with a shot from Mulahusejnović for Zrinjski, and then Borac threatened after two corners. Zrinjski's goalkeeper Karačić saved a ground shot from Meijers.

In the 67th minute, Ramić threatened Borac, and in the very next attack, Malekinušić did too, but without precision.

In the 79th minute, Nemanja Bilbija entered the scene. Mamić crossed, and Bilbija headed the ball past Borac's goalkeeper Jurkas.



Four minutes before the end, a great chance for Borac, but goalkeeper Karačić brilliantly saved Despotović's shot.

The score remained 1:0 for Zrinjski, who thus won the first trophy of the season, and already on Sunday, they have a chance for a second.
