Zrinjski defeated Radnik and reduced the deficit to Borac

(Patria) - Zrinjski footballers defeated Radnik with a score of 2:1 in the last match of the 24th round of the WWin league of BiH.

Zrinjski struggled in the first half hour of the game, and the hosts took the lead at the end of the 30th minute from their first real chance.

Karlo Abramović advanced down the right flank, sent a return pass to the 11-meter mark, from where Antonio Ilić scored for 1:0.

Zrinjski took a 2:0 lead in the 56th minute from a penalty. Toni Jurić was the confident scorer, after an almost five-minute break and a check in the VAR room.

The guests had their first real chance in the 70th minute when Dario Todorović shot wide from about ten meters at an angle, unhindered.

Radnik reduced Zrinjski's lead in the 79th minute after an action involving Teodorović and Njegoš Kupusović. Teodorović entered deep into the hosts' penalty area with the ball, goalkeeper Goran Karačić tried to block him, but the Radnik player found Kupusović in the middle, who had no difficulty scoring for 2:1, which was the final result.

With three points won, Zrinjski reduced the deficit to leaders Borac to 6 points.

With twelve rounds left, Borac has 56 points, and second-placed Zrinjski has 50 points.

Followed by Sarajevo with 39, Velež with 35, and Široki Brijeg with 33 points.
