Zrinjski won the BiH Cup

(Patria) - Zrinjski Mostar won the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes Faktor.ba.

In the two-legged final, the team from Mostar was better than Borac Banja Luka, defended their title and reached their third trophy in history.

In addition, they prevented Borac from becoming the fourth team in our country to win the double crown (Željezničar, Sarajevo, and Zrinjski).

Zrinjski celebrated 1-0 in Banja Luka today, thus confirming their victory from the first leg (it was also 1-0 in Mostar).

The visitors started the match better and threatened in the eighth minute. After a free-kick cross, Ćuže headed the ball and hit the crossbar.

In the continuation of the action, Zrinjski players tried three more times, but their shots were blocked.

On the other hand, Vuković was stopped by Memija with a foul on his way to the goal, and the same Borac player hit the wall.

Banja Luka threatened in the 28th minute. After a corner by Karačić, Zrinjski's goalkeeper dived for nothing, Ćelić laid the ball down for Čavić, but his attempt was blocked.

Until the end of the first half, Kiš threatened with a free-kick, but Milošević boxed the ball and saved Borac's goal.

The visitors had a great chance in the 60th minute. Malekinušić crossed from the side, Mulahusejnović slid in, but the ball went to the goal kick.

Shortly after, Ćuže had a chance, but Hererra saved Borac.

Everything was decided in the 81st minute. Bradarić, who had just entered the game, brilliantly set up Malekinušić, who received the ball and scored past Milošević with a turn.

Borac could have equalized in the 89th minute, but Karačić made a panther-like save to stop Kvržić's attempt.
