Zrinjski eliminates Bravo and advances to the third qualifying round of the Conference League

(Patria) - Zrinjski from Mostar has advanced to the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League, after defeating the home team Bravo today in Ljubljana with a score of 3:1.

In the first match between these two teams, Bravo triumphed last week in Mostar with a minimal 1:0, but Zrinjski found the strength for a great comeback on a very difficult and rain-soaked pitch, advancing 3:2 on aggregate.

Zrinjski took the lead through Nardin Mulahusejnović in the 16th minute. However, the celebration of the Mostar team did not last long, as the scoreboard read 1:1 already in the 21st minute. The scorer for Bravo was Milan Tučić.

Zrinjski regained the lead in the 66th minute through defender Slobodan Jakovljević, who scored assisted by Antonio Ivančić.

About ten minutes before the end, Zrinjski increased their lead to 3:1, which turned out to be the final score of the match. The goal that secured their passage to the third round of qualifying for the Conference League was scored by Fran Mlinar, who scored from a free kick.

In the 3rd qualifying round, the 'Nobles' will face the team that loses the duel between Botev Plovdiv and Panathinaikos. The first leg ended 2:1 for Panathinaikos, and the return leg is scheduled for 8 PM.
