Dragons in the playoffs for Euro 2025

(Patria) - The BiH women's football team ended their Euro qualifiers with a 0-2 loss to Northern Ireland in Belfast.

However, despite this loss, the Dragons are advancing to additional qualifiers, i.e., the playoffs, from third place in the group, reports Faktor.

BiH finished Group 3 in League B with Portugal, Northern Ireland, and Malta with seven points - two wins, one draw, and three losses.

The Euro playoffs are played in two phases.

In the first phase, the top-ranked teams and the two best second-placed teams from League B groups will compete against the two weaker second-placed and third-placed teams from League B groups.

The winners of the first phase of the playoffs will advance to the second phase, where the remaining seven national teams that will play in the European Championship will be determined after the playoffs.

The draw for the playoffs will take place on July 19. The first phase of the playoffs will be played at the end of October and will conclude with matches played at the end of November and the beginning of December.

The Women's European Championship will be held in Switzerland from July 2 to 27, 2025.
