Zmajice left without a victory over Serbia in Zenica in the 87th minute

(Patria) - The women's "A" national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina drew 2:2 with Serbia today in the first match of the playoff semi-final for UEFA Euro 2025.

Tijana Filipović scored a goal for the visiting team in the 5th minute, but it was disallowed after a VAR review due to handball.

Dajana Spasojević made an excellent run down the left side in the 20th minute and sent the ball into the penalty area for Emina Ekić, who scored to make it 1:0.

Serbia equalized in the 28th minute. Tyla Jay Vlajnić took a free kick from the right side, and Nina Matejić was the highest in the jump, sending the ball past Almina Hodžić.

In the second half, the first serious attempt came from Ekić from distance in the 51st minute, but goalkeeper Milica Kostić pushed the ball out for a corner.

Spasojević took the corner kick, and in the scramble in the penalty area, Milena Nikolić was the quickest to react and sent the ball into the net for 2:1.

The next chance came for the Serbian team in the 75th minute, when Allegra Poljak hit the crossbar from about ten meters.

The visitors equalized again in the 87th minute with a goal by Vesna Milivojević.

The return match will be played on October 29 at 7:00 PM in Stara Pazova.
