(Patria) - The women's "A" national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated today away in Ovidiu by Romania with 0:2, in a match of the 5th round of group B1 of the UEFA Women's Nations League.
The goals were scored by Florentina Olar in first-half stoppage time and Cristina Carp in the 60th minute.
- Romania's victory was deserved, and we must congratulate them on it. They didn't outplay us particularly, but they had more will and desire. We should have taken more responsibility, and we weren't at our level.
We need to analyze well why that is and correct some mistakes before the next match. There were some good things, but at moments when we were playing well, we conceded goals.
This time it went their way. We need to lift the girls, rest, and prepare for the next very important match against Northern Ireland - said the BiH team coach Selver Hodžić after the match.
Our team will play their next match against Northern Ireland on June 3rd at 7:00 PM at the NS/FS BiH Training Center in Zenica.
