(Patria) - The national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina plays its sixth World Cup qualifying match against Cyprus tonight at AEK Arena in Larnaca.
The Dragons currently share first place in Group H with Austria – both selections have 12 points each, but Austria has played one game less. Sergej Barbarez's team has achieved four wins and one loss against Austria, so tonight's triumph is necessary for them to continue the fight for direct qualification for the World Cup.
"We are satisfied with how the guys have worked. I think we already have what we need in Cyprus in our heads," Barbarez said before the match.
Cyprus has won four points in five matches and no longer has a chance for the top of the table, but they surprised Romania with a draw in the last round. BiH and Cyprus have played five times so far – the Dragons have three wins and two losses.
The match is officiated by Belgian Lawrence Visser, and it starts at 20:45. It will be broadcast live on BHT1.
