Bosnia and Herzegovina national team coach Sergej Barbarez stated that the match against North Macedonia will be a test of character that will show how the players react to the success they achieved by qualifying for the World Cup.

Barbarez emphasized that North Macedonia is a very serious opponent with a new coach and will certainly try to win, and our team will approach it the same way.

He added that today everyone will get a chance to play at least one half, except those who are not fully ready, while the match against Panama on June 6 will be the final rehearsal regarding the World Cup squad.

Barbarez noted that Haris Tabaković will join the team most likely before the departure for the World Cup, although there is an option for him to continue treatment and join later when he is ready.

He stressed that Ivan Šunjić should be ready by the weekend.

National team player Tarik Muharemović said that discipline in the team has been maintained even after the great success and qualification for the World Cup.

He pointed out that the newest member of the team, Ermin Mahmić, has shown quality in training and will be a great addition once he gels with the rest of the squad.

After the match against North Macedonia, the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team travels to the United States, and on June 6 they will play a friendly match against Panama in St. Louis, which will be the final test for the Dragons before the start of the World Cup.

The Dragons will play their first match at the World Cup on June 12 against Canada in Toronto. Six days later they face Switzerland in Los Angeles, and on June 24 they play against Qatar in Seattle.
