Aggressive Romanians defeated on home turf: With Gigović's goal, BiH opened the qualifiers in the best way

(Patria) - The football national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved a victory at the start of the World Cup qualifiers in Romania. The only goal scorer was Armin Gigović, who was injured in the second half and left the field.

The hero of our team last night was Armin Gigović, who scored the winning goal for the Dragons in the 14th minute after an assist from Sead Kolašinac.

In the remainder of the match, BiH managed to defend and withstand numerous attacks from the Romanians.

After the referee blew the final whistle, our boys knew exactly how to celebrate a great victory and the end of their winless streak.

The celebration continued in the locker room, and Gigović himself showed how it looked by posting a video on Instagram.

Our boys sang the cult song "Bosnom behar probeharao" by Dino Merlin in unison, and the Romanians could surely hear them in their locker room.

However, there is not much rest for the BiH team, as another match awaits them on Monday.

Sergej Barbarez's squad will play the second-round qualifying match in Zenica, and their opponent will be Cyprus, who defeated San Marino 2-0 at home yesterday.
