(Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team played a 1-1 draw against Panama in front of more than 15,000 fans at Energizer Park in St. Louis.

This was the Dragons' last friendly match before the World Cup.

In the absence of Džeko and Šunjić, Sergej Barbarez opted for the following lineup: Vasilj, Muharemović, Katić, Kolašinac, Dedić, Bašić, Tahirović, Alajbegović, Bajraktarević, Demirović and Lukić.

When the match started, the Dragons did not allow their rival to breathe in the first 15 minutes or so, but there were no serious chances.

Bosnia and Herzegovina took the lead in the 23rd minute. Dedić did well to cross, and Katić sent the ball into the net with a header at the far post.

In the closing stages of the first half, concentration dropped. Panama created several serious chances and scored a goal from a corner through Ramos.

The second half brought a calmer game with little excitement and a slower tempo. At the start of the second half, Alajbegović threatened.

After that, Barbarez made half a dozen substitutions as Memić, Gigović, Baždar, Hadžiahmetović and Čelik entered the game.

In the 77th minute, the best chance for the Dragons was seen when, after a nice move, Memić hit the post.

The rest of the match brought no changes, so the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team played a draw in their final rehearsal for the World Cup. It should be noted that in the closing stages of the match, Alajbegović shot dangerously, but the Panama goalkeeper saved it.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will open the World Cup on June 12, when they will play against Canada at 9 PM Central European Time.
