(Patria) - The BiH national football team returned from Bucharest to Sarajevo today.
We defeated Romania last night 1-0, thus opening the World Cup qualifiers in the best possible way.
Our players and coaching staff, as well as all the fans, welcomed the final whistle with enthusiasm last night, but there is no time for excessive celebration.
A new, very important test is already on Monday. It is called the Cyprus national team, and we believe that our Dragons will make us happy again and finish the first two rounds of qualifiers with maximum points.
What is certainly worrying the public are the injuries. Armin Gigović was recovering alone on the sidelines due to a shoulder problem, while captain Edin Džeko remained in the locker room at halftime.
Allegedly, it is a broken nose, but no official confirmation has been received. A photojournalist from Faktor was at Sarajevo airport and captured the moment the Dragons arrived.
Džeko was met by his parents, and we all hope that the captain will find the strength to play on Monday, although according to the photos, the situation is not promising.
Tomorrow, the Dragons will have a training session in Butmir starting at 4:00 PM, and a press conference is scheduled slightly earlier at the FSBiH premises.
