Dragons Draw with Dutch at Bilino Polje in Final Nations League Match

(Patria) - The national football teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands drew tonight at Zenica's Bilino Polje in the final, sixth round of the UEFA Nations League A.

The final score was 1:1, and with this match in front of their home crowd, the Dragons bid farewell to the elite tier of the Nations League. In the next season, our national team will compete in League B of the Nations League.

The visitors had the first chance in the 7th minute. They could have capitalized on their initial pressure after De Vrij's attempt, but debutant Zlomislić saved the Dragons' goal with a superb intervention, writes Faktor.ba.

The Dutch took the lead in the 24th minute. After a corner and a short combination, Koopmeiners delivered a cross into the six-yard box, where Brobbey headed it in for 0:1. The Dragons' defense and goalkeeper Zlomislić could only watch the ball go into the net.

Three minutes later, we could have equalized. Muharemović set up Demirović, whose shot from an excellent position was blocked by the visiting team's defense.

In the 41st minute, it was dangerous in front of Zlomislić's goal. First, Muharemović blocked Zirkzee's attempt, and then Burnić saved our goal with an intervention on the goal line.

At the start of the second half, Edin Džeko had a great chance, but his attempt was stopped by goalkeeper Flekken.

We saw the same duel in the 58th minute, but again the Dutch goalkeeper emerged as the winner. The Diamond scored a goal after an hour of play, which was rightly disallowed for offside.
