(Patria) - The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Romania with a score of 3:1 in the penultimate round of the World Cup qualifiers.
Romania took the lead in the first half, and the goals for BiH were scored by Edin Džeko, Esmir Bajraktarević, and Haris Tabaković.
For direct qualification to the World Cup in America, Canada, and Mexico, the Dragons need another victory against Austria, and that match will be played on Tuesday in Vienna.
A complicating factor for Barbarez in the match against Austria will be the fact that we will play in Vienna without Katic, Burnić, and Dedić.
Given the events with the fans, BH Fanatikosi, after a flare display in front of the stadium, welcomed BiH's victory in local establishments in Zenica.
Incidentally, Romanian fans celebrated war criminal Ratko Mladić in Belgrade today, which caused much negative criticism, and the Romanian anthem was also booed in Zenica.
