
(Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team played a friendly match against Belgium tonight at the Mirza Delibašić Hall, their last before heading to Eurobasket.
In the first quarter, the teams traded leads, with the visitors winning the period 20:22. A much better performance followed from the Dragons, who tightened their defense and, thanks to that, took a comfortable 16-point lead (47:31), going into halftime with a 49:34 advantage.
The players selected by coach Adis Bećiragić continued to dominate and extend the lead, ultimately celebrating a convincing 90:74 victory. All players of the Bosnian national team got a chance in today's match, except Gegić and Halilović, who did not enter the game due to minor injuries and precautionary measures. The Dragons were led to triumph by Jusuf Nurkić (25 points), Kenan Kamenjaš (19), Edin Atić (15), and Adin Vrabac (13).
The national team of our country will remain in Sarajevo for another day, then travel to Cyprus on Monday, where they will play matches at the European Championship.
