Dragons defeated by China again

(Patria) - The basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated in the second friendly match against China in Nanjing.

The home team started the match better and won the first quarter with a high score of 29:15. However, the Dragons played better in the second quarter, reduced the deficit, and the halftime score was 42:35.

The second half of the match was dominated by the home team. Chinese basketball players again created a significant distance (53:39), and at the beginning of the last quarter, they reached a 16-point lead (68:52). However, the Dragons did not give up.

With Penava's points, the BiH team reduced the score to 70:61, and with Gegić's layup to 70:63. Halilović then scored for 70:65, and the coaching staff of the Chinese national team called a timeout. In the last minute, Vrabac made free throws and reduced the deficit to 75:72.

Three seconds before the end, Gegić went to the free-throw line and missed both shots. The final score remained 75:72.

In the winning team, Hu Jinqiu stood out with 16 points, while the most effective players for the BiH national team were Alen Pjanić (15), Miralem Halilović (12), and Edin Atić (11).
