Dragons complete another training session, Katić and Vasilj say they have adapted

(Patria) - Sergej Barbarez's selected players are working hard on final preparations ahead of the upcoming World Cup matches, and today's training session took place in a good atmosphere with maximum effort from all players.

The coaching staff continues to implement planned activities, while the national team players raise their level of form and readiness through each training session for the challenges awaiting them at the biggest global football spectacle.

Before the training, Nikola Katić and Nikola Vasilj addressed the media representatives.

Katić said, among other things: "We have been here for a long time, we have adapted to the time difference. We are preparing in excellent conditions and we are glad to be here. We are not thinking about how far we will go at the World Cup, the most important thing for us is today's training, and we will go like that until the match with Canada. We deserve to be here and we have an obligation to prepare well and be at our best when the matches come."

Vasilj stated: "After such a long journey, it was not easy to get used to the time difference. It took us a few days to adapt, and the match in St. Louis against Panama showed that the time was not exactly easy. However, we have now gotten used to it. Ahead of us is a match with Canada, who will be without Davies, but they are a team that has something to show. They have a quality team."

The Dragons will hold another training session tomorrow at 10:30 local time at Centennial Park in Toronto.
