(Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina "A" national team players completed their second training session today at the FK Sarajevo training center in Butmir as part of preparations for the matches against Romania and Cyprus.
All players are healthy and fulfilling all the obligations set by head coach Sergej Barbarez and his professional staff.
Before the training session, debutants in the "A" team, Amar Memić and Arjan Malić, addressed the media.
- It's an incredible feeling to be on the coach's list and to be together with all our national team players. My childhood dream has come true, and I am very happy about it.
I expect that I can help the coach and the team with my quality. I hope we can achieve a victory against Romania in the very first match and open the qualifiers in the best possible way - said Memić.
Malić shares similar sentiments.
- A very nice feeling, a dream come true for me. As a child, I watched the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, and it is an honor for me to be on the field with all these players.
A tough match against Romania awaits us, as they have a quality team. We need to give our all and leave our hearts on the field - said Malić.
The national team players will have two training sessions tomorrow, and they will travel to Bucharest on Thursday morning.
