Dragons Undefeated in Budapest, Nikola Vasilj's Magical Night

(Patria) - The Dragons drew tonight in Budapest with hosts Hungary in the second round of the UEFA Nations League A. There were no goals in the exciting 90 minutes of football at the "Puskás Arena" stadium.

In the first half, we didn't show much, the hero was the brilliant Nikola Vasilj who stood out on three occasions, writes Faktor.ba.

Hungary had their first big chance in the 17th minute, but Vasilj saved Bolla's shot and cleared the ball for a corner.

In the 24th minute, Varga outjumped Dedić and shot under the crossbar, but Vasilj was in the right place again.

In the 33rd minute, Sallai shot, the ball reached Varga, but Vasilj also saved his shot.



Just before the end of the first half, another chance for Hungary, Nagy shot, the phenomenal Vasilj saved again.

The first half ended 0:0, and our boys could only be satisfied with the result, not with the performance on the field.

In the second half, it was almost the same story. Our national team was harmless, the Hungarians were pressing.

In the 67th minute, Edin Džeko shot, but the Hungarian goalkeeper saved. A few minutes later, Džeko shot again, but it was a weak shot.

Hungary threw all their forces forward in the end, and our boys were content with a point.

In the 90th minute, Hungary had the chance of the match, but Vasilj reacted fantastically again and saved. The St. Pauli goalkeeper deservedly earned the title of player of the match.



With tonight's draw against the Hungarians, and after the 5:2 loss to the Netherlands, the Dragons won their first point in the new UEFA Nations League season.

Let's also mention that with tonight's 0:0 draw, the BiH national team ended a catastrophic streak of seven consecutive losses, including friendly matches.
