Dragons on a short break, Federation congratulated Mahmić and Čelik on their debut

(Patria) - The players selected by coach Sergej Barbarez, after last night's match against North Macedonia, were given time off until Monday when they will hold another training session before traveling to the United States on June 2.

The training session will be held at the Grbavica stadium on Monday and will be open to the public.

In last night's match at the packed Asim Ferhatović Hase stadium, debutants Ermin Mahmić and Nidal Čelik also played.

"We congratulate our Dragons on their first appearances in the jersey with the state coat of arms and wish them much success, good games, and beautiful moments in their national team careers," the Federation stated.

The Dragons' next test is on June 6 against Panama, and then Operation World Cup begins. The first match is scheduled for June 12 against Canada in Toronto.

The Dragons will have great support in both Canada and the USA, from their families as well as the numerous Bosnian diaspora living in the USA and around the world.
