
(Patria) - The BiH mini-football national team was stopped in the quarter-finals of the European Championship held in Sarajevo.
The Romanian team proved better than the Dragons tonight with a 4:1 victory, who did not falter despite the excellent atmosphere in Skenderija, writes Faktor.ba.
The Romanians entered the match as favorites, considering they are the current world champions.
They proved their quality already in the first half when they had a three-goal lead.
At the very start of the second half, the Romanians scored a fourth goal, deciding the winner.
By the end of the match, BiH managed to score a consolation goal through Ibričić from the penalty spot.
Romania will play against Kazakhstan in the semi-finals.
By reaching the top eight, Bosnia and Herzegovina qualified for the World Cup.
