(Patria) - The national sitting volleyball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has qualified for the semi-finals of the European Sitting Volleyball Championship by defeating the national team of Turkey with a score of 3:0 (25:15, 25:17, 25:14).
At the beginning of the match, Turkey offered solid resistance, and the BiH team took the lead for the first time at 14:13.
Coach Mahmutović introduced experienced Hamzić at that moment, and we calmly finished the first set with a score of 25:15.
We had minor fluctuations in the second set as well, but without major problems, and we also finished that part in our favor with a score of 25:17.
In the third set, which ended with a score of 25:14, all players from the BiH team got a chance to play.
- There was a bit of relaxation from our players at the beginning, they also had a short break during the day, and that reflected until they got back into their game. The result was never in question, and what is good is that we tried all the players.
For tomorrow's match, we will certainly have a slightly different analysis and preparation. From this, we can again draw a lesson that one should not relax even against such teams, because this is a team that has improved a lot, and its result speaks for itself considering they reached the quarterfinals - said coach Mahmutović.
The BiH team plays its semi-final match tomorrow, and the opponent will be known after the match between Poland and Serbia concludes.
