Golden Lilies without a lost set to first place in the group

(Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national sitting volleyball team achieved its fifth victory at the European Sitting Volleyball Championship held in Hungary.

The BiH team also defeated the German national team today with a score of 3:0 (25:17, 25:20, 25:18).

The Golden Lilies thus easily dealt with their biggest rival in this competition and advanced to the next stage.

In this match, captain Sabahudin Delalić, who missed the previous games due to minor health issues, was in the starting lineup for the first time.



Ifet Mahmutović's team dominated throughout the entire match, and the German national team, despite putting up a good fight, could not do anything against the inspired golden boys.

- Regarding this match, I think we played at our maximum level, which is what the coach asked of us. We managed to defeat the German national team 3:0, another victory in a row, we are first in the group.

Tomorrow we have an easier match, we play against the fourth-placed team from Group A, most likely it will be the Turkish national team, and then we expect a semi-final against Poland.



And then, whether it will be Germany or Ukraine in the final, we will see how they play, in any case, we are satisfied - said captain Delalić.

Tomorrow at 4:00 PM, the BiH team plays against the fourth-placed team from Group A.

Judging by the results so far, it could be Turkey, which plays its last group match against the first-placed Ukraine.
