Women's BiH national team seeded in Eurobasket 2029 pre-qualifiers draw

(Patria) - The draw for the 2029 Women's European Championship pre-qualifiers will be held in Mies, Switzerland on Tuesday, March 31, starting at 2:00 PM.

The women's national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with Switzerland and Romania, will be in the first seeded group and will have the status of a top seed.

In the second "pot" are Iceland, Norway, and Estonia, the third consists of North Macedonia, Cyprus, and the Republic of Ireland, while Azerbaijan is alone in the fourth.

Three groups will be formed, one with four teams and two with three each. The top-ranked teams from each group will qualify for the final pre-qualifying tournament.

The matches of the first "window" of the Eurobasket 2029 pre-qualifiers will be played on November 11, 14, and 17 of this year.
