Earthquake of 3.8 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Croatia

(Patria) - Seismographs of the Croatian Seismological Service recorded an earthquake this morning at 10:21 AM with an epicenter near Fužine, about 20 kilometers southeast of Rijeka.

The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.8 on the Richter scale, and the intensity at the epicenter was estimated at V degrees on the EMS scale.

The earthquake was felt in Croatian Littoral and Gorski Kotar.

In the first 10 minutes, hundreds of citizens reported feeling tremors preceded by unusual noise.

EMSC states on social networks that it has received numerous user reports about the earthquake.
