Željo celebrated at Pecara with goals from Krpić, Dangubić, and Cvetanoski

(Patria) - FK Željezničar achieved an important victory with a score of 3:0 away against NK Široki Brijeg in the 12th round of the WWin league of BiH. Thanks to goals from Krpić, Dangubić, and Cvetanoski in the second half, the visitors secured another three points and recorded a significant success at Pecara.

The match started intensely, with Željezničar immediately showing ambition through better control of the game in the opening minutes. The first serious chance came in the 22nd minute when Dangubić, after a good opening, shot from 12 meters, but the ball went over the hosts' goal. The hosts responded a few minutes later, creating a scramble in front of Željezničar's goal after a corner, but without a concrete threat. Marković tried from a distance in the 36th minute, but the ball went high over the goal.

Towards the end of the first half, Lukić and Šukilović collided heads, causing a brief interruption. In the 42nd minute, Radovac received the ball about 20 meters out, but his shot ended up in the block, leading to a continuation of the tough, goalless game. The first 45 minutes ended without goals, but with several promising attempts from the visitors.

The second half brought greater efficiency from Željezničar. In the 58th minute, a nice play resulted in the leading goal when Radovac passed back to Dangubić, who precisely shot to give Željezničar a 1:0 lead. Shortly after, in the 61st minute, Cvetanoski sent an accurate cross towards Krpić, who headed the ball in for 2:0, significantly increasing the visitors' advantage.

Široki Brijeg tried to respond, and in the 68th minute, Bagarić shot from a distance after a mistake by Muftić, but was blocked. The tempo of the game then slowed down, which suited the visitors, who successfully maintained control until the end of the match. Despite occasional attempts by the hosts, Željezničar kept their net untouched. Cvetanoski scored the final goal for the 3:0 result.
