Željo disappoints fans, Široki takes full spoils from Grbavica

(Patria) - In the second match of today's program of the 1st round of the BiH Premier League, Željezničar hosted Široki Brijeg tonight. It ended 1:0 for the guests.

Željezničar threatened through Hiroš in the seventh minute, but goalkeeper Tomić saved, writes Faktor.

The guests took the lead in the 14th minute when Ćorić brilliantly found Ćavar, who then excellently hit the opposite corner of Muftić's goal.

The Blues were uninspired in the first half, and the fans at the packed Grbavica were very dissatisfied.

Before the break, Vukoja threatened, but the shot went wide.

Home team coach Denis Ćorić brought in Cvetanovski and Radovac at halftime, replacing Vukoja and Đorić, and Željezničar started playing much better.

However, Široki threatened first when Ćavar was alone and shot, and the ball went slightly wide of the post.

Boljević responded, goalkeeper Tomić intervened well.

In the 60th minute, a great chance for Željezničar. Hiroš set up Krpić, who shot weakly, and Tomić was once again the hero.

Two minutes later, Radovac also shot, and Adolf Tomić saved again.

The guests could have sealed the deal in the 73rd minute when Ćavar shot from an angle, and the ball even hit the post, but it didn't end up in the empty net.

Željezničar had another chance in the 83rd minute, Tomić saved with a bit of luck.

The score remained 1:0 for the guests, and Željezničar fans surely left Grbavica disappointed.
