
(Patria) - Former Bosnia and Herzegovina international Deni Milošević (30) is the new player of Željezničar, having signed a contract until the summer of 2027.
Deni Milošević was born on 9 March 1995 in Liège, Belgium. He came through the youth academy of Standard Liège, and later played for the senior team and Belgian side Beveren. In the summer of 2016, he moved to Turkey. He spent five years wearing the jersey of Konyaspor, and then for the past four years he was a player of Antalyaspor. He played one season on loan at Sakaryaspor.
He has extensive experience behind him. He made 193 appearances in the Turkish Süper Lig, 27 in the Turkish Cup, 21 in the Belgian league, and also played 15 matches in European competitions.
He played for the senior Bosnia and Herzegovina national team for three years, making a total of 11 appearances. He scored his only goal for the national team precisely at Grbavica in a 2-0 victory over Armenia. He also wore the jersey of the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 team and the youth selections of Belgium.
Milošević will strengthen competition in the positions of attacking midfielder and winger. He has already joined the team today and will travel to Međugorje for mini preparations.
– Everything is great, everything went well. I am glad that I signed, that we resolved this, and I can't wait to come and play in front of the fans here at Grbavica. I completed all the preparations with Antalyaspor and now I am ready and I am coming to give my best. I hope the fans will continue to cheer for the club like this and support us, said Deni Milošević.
