Željezničar footballer visited Ella in hospital: 'You are proof that heroes exist'

(Patria) - Željezničar footballer Matej Cvetanoski visited girl Ella Jovanović (17) in the Sarajevo General Hospital, who was seriously injured in a tram accident that occurred on February 12th.

The player from North Macedonia suffered a serious injury last week in a match against Sloga, after which he was taken from the Grbavica stadium pitch directly to the General Hospital where he underwent surgery.

Ella, a big fan of Željezničar, is also accommodated in that health institution.



Both the brave girl and Matej are in stable health condition, and the footballer decided to visit her this evening.

'I had the honor of meeting Ella, proof that heroes exist. We can't wait to see you in the stands, we will come back even stronger,' Cvetanoski wrote on his Instagram story.

Girl Ella is in a completely stable general condition and is currently in the department for physical therapy and rehabilitation before going home.

Cvetanoski was successfully operated on, and the surgical procedure performed by Dr. Harun Džozić and Dr. Adis Kukuljac went perfectly well.
